I realize this isn't a direct answer to your question, as I have no answer for that.

I recently purchased a pellet grill. I purchased it for smoking. After I got it and visited some of the pellet forums, I discovered that this is called a grill for a reason. A pellet grill can smoke, grill, bake, etc. Temps from 180 to 600 are available depending on which brand you choose.

Now, pellet grills that I have used and can highly recommend are Green Mountain and Yoder Smokers. There are other good pellet grills out there, but I have no experience with them, so won't comment.
