The bottom line is there probably won't be many people who care if you cook at a contest you organize - UNTIL you win a prize. With money at stake I'll bet a Yankee dollar against a plug nickel those same folks who shrugged earlier will be howling for you to be DQ'ed, or at the very least they'll tell every team they know not to sign up for your show in the future because "it's fixed".

Since no good can really come to you of cooking it, and plenty of bad, why risk it? You'll have more than enough to do running the event *without* cooking, believe me.
