The field at Abilene is grass, but it is flat. You probably won't have water running through your spot, but may have it standing if it rains for extended period or doesn't soak in well. As everyone has said, dry shoes and socks are a must. Depending on how much space we have had for transport, we have used 1 x 10's for walkways, plywood sections for flooring, whatever we had room for. Careful with wet wood, it can be slick to walk on, found that out earlier this year at Overland Park in the mud.

Keep a good attitude, and drink lots of hookers. You'll be fine.
