All will fly or shred in a strong thunderstorm. Basically you have two choices: buy cheap and be prepared to replace at least every couple seasons or buy expensive expecting to get longer life out of them. Of course since either way you are betting on the weather it's a diceroll.

Or, to put it another way: the only damage-proof canopy is the one you don't put up.
