I wanted to share this wonderful story of faith from Jeff Stith, who has been sharing his faith in the spirit of Christ with the people of Joplin.

Micah 6:8The Message (MSG)

But he's already made it plain how to live, what to do,
what God is looking for in men and women.
It's quite simple: Do what is fair and just to your neighbor,
be compassionate and loyal in your love,
And don't take yourself too seriously—
take God seriously.

We served BBQ for 1,100 people in six shelters at both lunch and dinner tonight. In addition, probably another 500 victims, volunteers, firefighters and police officers came by our location to get BBQ sandwiches, chips, water, donuts, brownies and Gatorade. Got a midnight delivery at the triage hospital tonight for 200 people. I got to go into what they're calling Ground Zero here. I have no words to describe what I saw. We have another 1,000 pounds of pork already on smokers for tomorrow and will put about 2,000 pounds of chicken on in the morning to do it all over again. The stories on tv are stories that shock you. To stand there listening to someone who has lost everything tell their story is life altering. Any problems we have seem so insignificant. More to come...
