Galatoires on Bourbon St. Go early without a reservation...so you they don't put you in the tourist section. Eat whatever the waiter recommends. The pompano is amazing. You have to wear a jacket tho.

Emerils. A bit more expensive, but food and service outstanding.

GW Finns - Famous for Chilean Sea Bass - absolutely amazing. Dinners don't include sides, so you might have to order appetizers or side dishes if you're a big eater.

Commanders Palace. An oldy, but a goody.

The Pelican Club. Great food and service.

These are all great. Look over the menus on-line and see which one appeals most to you.
