I filmed a team in Mason City putting raw chicken above butts,ribs, briskets, rotiserie cooker. Everything drips on every meat.
Here's the catch. That raw chiken juice needs to be cooked out to be safe. Bacteria dies 2 ways. Fast at high temp, slow at prolonged temps. Raw drippings falling on a meat about to come out of the cooker is not a good idea.
