We had a real problem trying to procure a BBQ hog last year in Nebraska. All the local butchers could get us were pigs that already had the skin removed. Didn't say anything about the head...but anyway, I ended up sending my dad to W&G Marketing in Sidney, IA to get one. It was about a two hour ride back home, but he packed it in ice (in a kiddie pool in the back of his pickup, I think) and drove it home, and it turned out great. Not sure where you are coming from, but Sidney is few miles off the beaten path, you could still hit it off of I-29 going north. The only number I could find was for their main office in Ames: (515) 233-4774.
