No!! A tiered system would be the death blow to competition BBQ. I don't think it's wise to have a small number of the so-called professional cookers who can afford to compete every week on one level and a larger number of people who cook a few times a year on another. I think it is good and healthy for a cooker who competes a few times a year to sneak up and beat the big dogs. It makes our hobby fun and adds a bit of mystery to the awards ceremony. I want to see more Poor Que type contests and not less!
