I'd like to get some feedback on the idea of a 'True Amateur' division. We've recently gotten into the competition cooking in the Backyard Division, and have noticed that it's the same names/teams winning time after time. I'm certainly not knocking their abilities or taking anything away from their wins. I know they deserve them. But it seems that Backyard isn't really Backyard, it's more semi-pro for those teams wanting to rack up points, but not pay the full Pro Division entry fees.
Like I said, I'm new, so I'm looking to you veterans for the Pros and Cons of this idea.
