We had no problem till we got the bigger trailer. Hit a spot on I-75 around Tifton Ga. and cracked the bottom of one. I think it was the whiplash effect that did it. As for the plate setters I took an old blanket, cut it up into squares, and use it to wrap the plate setters. I just set them on top of the grill and have not broken one while rolling.
They are more durable than folks think.
