You didn't really say what you didn't like about it? Taste? Oversmoked/bitter?
You did it just like I do. For a breast that size with that brine, overnight is fine. Even if the bird was enhanced (already had a solution) putting it in a brine won't add more salt (long explanation if you really need it).
Just need a little more detail about what you didn't like.
That's close to what I do. just a lower smoker temp, but that would only matter for the turkey skin.
