2 Quarts Water
2 Cups Soy Sauce, not low sodium.
1 Tbs. Vegetable oil
6 Med cloves Garlic, smashed.
1 Tbs. grated fresh ginger
4 Split chicken halves
18 oz. canned pineapple juice
1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1/4 cup Soy sauce
1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup rice vinegar
2 Tbs. grated fresh ginger
4 Medium cloves garlic, pressed or minced
2 Tbs. Asian chili-garlic sauce
Bring the glaze to a boil and reduce until thick and syrupy, about a 1 cup.
