I haven't tried burning lump in it b/c I don't want to deal with the possible bridge aspect (shouldn't be a problem if you break up the big pieces). On a given contest, running two smokers from ~11PM through turnins I'll burn ~2.5 bags of Stubbs Briquettes. This was down from the first year of competiting on the large Good One, where we'd burn 80 - 100 lbs of lump. MUCH more fuel efficient, esp. if you run a stoker / guru on them.
