Yo Stan, I have cooked many a ten pound bag of chicken quarters, thigh/leg pieces, and usually get three pounds of chicken per ten pound bag. Sometimes the yield is 33%, but 30% is the norm. I throw the skin and bones in the stock pot and boil them down for stock. I don't waste a cluckin' thing.......

I apologize to all on the forum who may have noticed my absence as of late. I started a real job this summer and I am still working the ballpark too. My time on-line has been extremely limited these last few months. I have actually gone weeks without logging in.
