First, I always keep the top vent completely closed when I use a guru on my Egg. Second, if you have a 10 cfm fan, open the damper only about 1/3 to 1/2 way to decrease the power of the airflow (if you have a 25 CFM fan, its probably just too powerful for an Egg). If all else fails, call Bob Trudnak at the guru and he will help you figure it out.
