all you guys have some good points. what i have observed through the years that organizations like KCBS all started with good intentions and they still generally are but they tend to be the pet funding source for some at the top and their friends to get to travel to where they want on others $$$. the reps get to go to lots of neat places, have fun at festivals for not much work. don't get mad, i know they have things to do but its not like real work and they volunteer for the gig. if they didn't want to do it, all they have to do is say no. don't know ms wells but i guess her time in grade gets her all the good contests. is that a rule? who does all the assignments? BOS has some good points. this kind of stuff gets under people's fingernails. Jeff has good points to as there would be no contest but for the work of these people. the common ground would be for both sides to recognize the efforts of others. change within groups generally comes from the dissent, not the loyal followers. if you belong and have tried to institute change and failed and decided to leave, that is fine. if a member and satisfied, that is fine too. everybody should just get along and not be so critical of others opinions. after all chances are you will cross paths down the que trail at some point.

lets all hug and sing kum ba ya.
