No, H#LL no. First off the KCBS has no control over who judges. I recently did a contest where the organizer (corporation) said these people will judge. So making a judge cook with a team is not practical. And making a CBJ cook with a team requires teams to let them cook. I had 3 master candidates cook with me last year, but somebody that has never judged would have very little idea of what we do and would probably run screaming away when you told them to filet a chicken skin. And showing up Saturday morning at 9 for a late breakfast wouldn't cut it.
I've been at contests where they literally dragged people off the street to judge. We all play on the same field and we all take our lumps until we pay judges and monitor their performance.
