Because BBQ cooking is hard a judge should always judge an entry higher when in doubt between a 7 or an 8?
By your logic, the entries should be accompanied by the type of cooker it was cooked on... because surely a wood burner requires more work than an FEC.
Understanding how much work goes into cooking and preparing an entry has absolutely nothing to do with appearance, taste, and texture. Now if you can find something in the judging guidelines to the contrary please feel free to post it.
