Not a Honda, but I wonder if the same rule would apply to a Sears generator that sits on a back porch month after month. I start it once a month.

I just discovered "Sea Foam" gas preservative and am now leaving the carb full to prevent the seals from drying out. I used to run it dry. By the way, if you are not familiar with "Sea Foam" check it out.

So, is it dry seals or a "bobbing float" that would do the most harm.
