I like your attitude about comment cards. Judges may, if they wish, give comment cards to a team. According to the judges' CD, comments are encouraged for an entry receiving a "low" score. The CD also says that a high score is, in itself, indicative of excellent in BBQ. That said, I'm seeing more and more comment cards with positive comments. Reps will gladly take, and distribute back to the cook, any comment card with constructive information on it, whether it's because of a great entry or a not-so-great entry. But, comment cards that merely inflame, such as "those ribs sucked" will not be given to the cook because it's meaningless. Good Q'en On Ya'. John
