We had that for Denver with a 25% addition to the total food for seconds at $46 per plate. No additional charges. No, it wasn't from McDonalds...plus we had the Denver Convention Center for the meetings and everything else, right across the street from the hotel that would have given KCBS a $10 per room night rebate for rooms to apply to the rental of the Convention Center. That would have only saved KCBS about $3500 on a $4000 rental. Guess that didn't make enough sense to those that wanted to pay to go to San Diego...
And the Awards dinner wouldn't have been out in the grass along a view of a beach... But it would have been in Denver in January...so I guess that was the overriding factor...along with the factor that the hotel rooms for the same hotel as KC were $1 cheaper than KC and the air flights were anywhere from $100 to $450 cheaper from the same cities when compared to Denver and San Diego at the prices when we compared them on Orbitz in January. I guess San Diego made more sense.
