Very well said. I also talk to the teams after the comp. The questions
i'm usually asked are: was there anything that just jumped out? How about the brisket, chicken,ribs ,pork? I answer as I see it. There is some D+++ good BBQ, some excellent BBQ and some very good BBQ. I'm also asked if any entries received a straight 9.I've had one cook tell me her ( what ever the category it might be) really sucked, only to find out later that she was G.C. or R.G.C.
