Ray, thanks for putting my post back up. Believe it or not it is not my intent to be a trouble maker here. I just get very tired of the constent judge bashing that seems to be weekly if not daily on this forum. I try to judge 10 events per year and the great majority of events I judge I travel well over 400 miles to do so. I do my best to learn something at every event I judge and I try to teach newer judges what I have learned as well.
I cooked for a local event for over 10+ years and have cooked with a couple of cook teams as well so I do know what it takes to compete.
Just as the cooking is continualy changing so must the judging to keep up with the cooks. You all must understand we (judges) are not bad people but every judge is not going to have the same score every time.
He11, when you or I cook it is not going to turn out exactly the same every time. It may be close but not exactly the the same.
