1 lb thick cut bacon (Sama stuff is great). 1 lb dark brown sugar. cut bacon into quarters and add sugar and massage it utnil all the sugar is stuck to the bacon (10 minutes or so). Sprinkle with rub and cook at 250 for about 90 minutes. If done in a full pan, remove bacon to a half pan with paper towels to absorb the drippings. Let sit about 10 minutes before serving. Dispose of the grease mixture carefully.
