Well, I don't know much about what Myron cooks with, but when he's been in DC, he has been seen to have lots of peach logs piled at his site. Now, that's purely circumstantial evidence, I agree, because I've always been too busy to notice what he actually puts into his smoker.
Also, the only time I've ever seen him working up to starting a fire was a couple nights ago on a repeat of one of the Pitmaster shows where he was pouring lighter fluid onto his briquettes in a stream that would have made a tall cow stand up and take notice. That said, I have no idea if he actually cooked anything on that charcoal.
