great point. seem to forget the MIM folks.
i think it is not fair to the KCBS people or most of them since there is the added requirement of the on site presentation in MIM. all those you mentioned can cook and blind judging should allow the meat to speak for itself, evening the playing field. i just watched on the Green Channel the last BBQ Pitmasters show from Ill where Trig and Lee Ann had to do MIM presentations. I am sure with more time they could get it together but clearly the MIM guys, like Myron, can both cook and talk, giving the MIM guys the advantage. anyway interesting discussion. hope to see ya in plant city so i can get some more books signed, even if they were printed in china. safe travels.
