I, too, have thought about that...but, because I'm coming at it from a rep's point of view, more in the sense of what one-hour turn-ins will do to awards. Most teams, are impatient to get to awards (I understand that), but most teams don't have a clue what reps are doing after the last turn-in to get all their work done so that awards can happen at a the appointed time. These days of mostly sizable entries, it's a scramble to get it all done in time for a 5:00pm award ceremony. A small contest might allow for a 4:00pm ceremony. Ultimately, I believe one-hour turn-ins will result in an earlier chicken turn-in time, say 11:00pm so that the last turn-in would be at 2:00pm, which would allow a 5:00pm award ceremony. Using the present schedule, the brisket turn-in would be 3:00pm and awards wouldn't happen until at least 6:00pm. And, unfortunately, there's no present way to make it happen sooner. Just more grist for the conversation mill. Good Q'en On Ya'. John
