This is a bit of a strange comment, off the cuff as it were. I'm guessing it refers to the trend I've noticed to use overly flavored injections (e.g. adding rub to it, extra salt, meat flavoring) and this addition is overriding other aspects of flavor. I think an injection should be about 85% for moisture contribution and only about 15% for flavor.
