Wow! What a trip. Thank you to everyone that posted suggestions as to where to eat on out trip. If I ever lived there I would double in size.

Many highlights on the trip with the kids, but I will stick to the food.

Boston Blackies is closed. A bartender from P.J. Clarkes said he was passing bad checks all over town and they got him at the Canadian border. The family that owns Volare across the street said they bought it out. Volare was one of the best meals I had in the past five years.

I got a beef at the White Sox game. I have got to learn how to make those. I wish I got to Al's Beef, but we only had so much time.

Great food court at the science museum.

Harry Carry's was just O.K. Pretty good meatloaf.

Ron of Japan was good, but lacked the showmanship that the kids love.

Great beer at the roof top beer garden at Rock Bottom Brewery. (I was literally pushed into the door by my wife after the ball game) Kolsch and Summer really hit the spot on a summer day. Goose Island Brewery had several great beers as well. Sat and talked football at Timmy O'Toole's and another Irish bar along the river.

Fox and Obel gourmet food store had some great Salmon we ate pool side at the hotel.

Chicago is a great city to visit for food lovers.

Time for some clean living. A special thank you to everyone that helped us. There were so many good suggestions.
