I have not. I have smoked 1 brisket (small), a whole chicken & baby back ribs. So at 1.5 hours per pound I am looking at 13.5 hours which sounds more reasonalbe to me. Do you take yours off at a certain temp. & wrap it in foil and stick it back on? The pork butt I have never cooked in a smoker. Before having a smoker I always used a crock pot for about 8 hrs. I have read you can cook the pork at 225 for 1.5 hours per pound too. I just want the food to be good for all my guests. It's my birthday, but I am doing the cooking since I LOVE to!
