A couple of suggestion that I have for everyone:

"Don't use the trash bag they throw the chilis in after hot roasting", this will setup a chemical release from the bags...

Take a food grade container to the roaster to place the hot chilis in to steam the skins...

Place your excess chilis in a vacuum bag and freeze for later use...

Never rinse your chilis under water to remove the skin... You will loose most of the great flavor... Instead pull a thawed or fresh roasted chili between the thumb and fire finger to remove most of the skin...

Do I think it's worth the drive... "H#ll Yes"
