Too many comment cards contain statements like "should have been cooked longer", "you need to clean your grill", or "don't use lighter fluid". Much of the time, the judge is totally wrong in his assumption that they know what the cause of the problem is.

Don't try to diagnose WHY things went wrong, simply report WHAT you felt the problem was. "Meat was not tender", "Bitter char taste", or "Unpleasant petrol-like flavor" are much better versions of the previous comments.
