I brined a Pig a couple weekends ago Water, Apple Cider, Salt, Brown Suger, Onions, Garlic, Apples and Thyme.
About 24hrs in a cooler full of ice.
Didn't like it...wont do it again. The thyme just didn't work, next time I brine a pig I'm gonna keep it simple I think salt & brown suger.
