Right-O Sam. I didn't mean to imply the meat itself has to be stamped - that isn't done for much of anything smaller than whole carcasses or very large major cuts. You certainly won't ever find stamped chicken thighs, and who would want to turn 'em in with tattoos anyway? ;)

(If I did, the tattoo would have to be "9 9 9")
