I'm not piling on or even trying to create an enviroment of fear, but I had both my leftovers and some uncooked meat stolen from my cooler last year during awards.
Either put your meat in a secure place or have someone hang around your site if you are not going to be there. It's a great event to cook in, but it can happend.
