what kind of knife is best recommended to cut ribs

Should I be using a sarated knive, a butcher knife, etc. My first ever competition is this weekend and do not want to screw my presentation by using the wrong knife. Also any tips on presentation? what type of lettuce should I use? (was going to use a mix of green leaf and parsely)
