I can remember Dad telling me about dispatching for Campbells 66 and they use to pick up beef sides from processors. They would lay paper out on the floor and stack the sides on top of it. Did I mention Campbells was all dry vans (no refrigeration) , they would load them up just outside of Tulsa and haul them down to Dallas if I remember right and deliver to Mickey Mantle restaurants. Would have been in the mid to late 60ís I think.
