I think that what he is referring to, is that in competition, you can't separate any part of the pork from the other parts, and then put any portion back into the smoker to re-heat or continue cooking.
I don't remember reading anything in this thread specifying a competition (but why would anyone mention the money muscle if NOT talking competitions).
BUT, I do believe that you already knew that!
