traeger problem

I've had my Jr w/ the 180 controller for a few yrs now & it has started popping the circuit breaker recently. It happens a couple of minutes after startup when the fire is just getting to temp. This is the only thing on that circuit. I've reset the breaker & turn it back on & w/in a couple of minutes the same thing happens. Is my igniter rod going or is there something else I need to look at?
