I have a Weber Performer next to my smoker. It does a great job on virtually everything. Sometimes I cook ribs for a lady in town on her leaky, rusted out, perforated, doors won't close $179 Brinkman offset. The only control I have is the size of the fire and location of the lump and and the slabs. Never a problem with cooking chamber temperature, and the ribs are just as good as those cooked in my high-dollar smoker with all the bells and whistles.
