I was an electrician for 40 years and worked for some real crumbs. After ten years I landed a job on the railroad and never regretted it. The guys that said I was nuts to stick to my trade and not go do what I dreamed of doing are no where near retiring and when they do it will be Social Security not a pension.
Facts are 50% of food joints go out of business in first year.....unless it's a BBQ joint...then it's 80%. The place is not making it our they wouldn't come to you. You are laying your families life on a business that you will have no say how is run. Stay with your day job. Play on your own time at night.
