We opened a small Q joint a few years ago. Actually, "The" Fast Eddy, below, helped us set it up. Fortuantely, we held onto our other business and closed the restaurant after a couple of years for several reasons. You have to sell a lot of food to be very profitable and its hard to do in a small place.
A lot of well meaning people have shared advice with you here and they pretty much all agree with each other. It is probably not what you hoped to hear, but it is very good advice and I encourage you to take it seriously.
