When we got into barbecue contests, hiring ringers didn't happen much, either. Of course, there weren't many ringers to hire, but still. If you really want to end the practice, just end the money. If you want to get rid of a fat lot of the ethical problems people seem to think we have, get rid of the money. Yup: ain't gonna happen.
