i don't want to sound mean here but the idea that that people who cook 40+ contests a year and charge to attend their cooking schools are doing this for the fun of it is commical. i am sure that all/most of them really do like their fellow competitors and enjoy the occasional chat but get a grip with "we are fam i ly, i got my cooker with me" deal. many may be retired or whatever but have some supplental income to help but they are there for one purpose $$$$$; and god bless them for it. i'm jealous. i wish i was one of them. i think it is wrong to subscribe ill intentions to things that are perfectly legal.

the nascar model may be the way to go. you have driver and owner points. set up a system where you have cook and owner points. that will solve the problem.

ADVERSISEMENT: would love to be cook of #2 pit for really good BBQ team. am responsible, have a good driving record and will follow instructions. please, love to cook but need help. references upon request.
