Why is it not ethical? Because my business revolves around bbq does not mean that I have to be at everything. I have a co cook who has never been with another team and happens to be an employee of mine and has done well. Bub-Ba-Q, whether it be myself or Jarrod, has been fortunate on the circuit and so have plenty of other people. Maybe I am in a better position than some others to be able to have him go out and be able to cover the costs, but it is in no way to demean anybody out there. I am sorry if you feel it is wrong, but I ask you this, would you not set up 2 different booths at different trade show for your business? No different than what I am doing.
And for the record, Jarrod went to NC and cooked and did well, on his own. Yes I did drive him to MD for the regional and HE cooked it. Whether you choose to believe that or not really does not matter to me or not. I never hid the fact that he was going or used a different team name like many others did.
