Question 1: Yes, the TEAM should be eligible, even if the captain, or others cannot attend. My team has competed without me and done well with the system we all created together. Obviously there would be an issue if I was competing somewhere else...but that's already a rule.

Question 2: The way the TOY points are constructed, the more contests a team does, the more advantage they have in total points. A teams worst contests (over 10 or whatever it is) are not even counted. As long as the benefit goes to teams that compete more, why not let them do two in a weekend?? If points were averaged, the ballgame would be different. But I guess even then, yeah, go ahead and knock out 2 in a weekend! Helps the economy as well, and definitely shows stamina ;-)

Question 3: ummm, no.

Question 4: Yes, you should be able to invite a head cook from another team, or whoever you want to join your team. You are calling the shots anyways.

Question 5: I think if your team is invited to an invitational, you would want your whole team there, and to try and build another team to do a regular KCBS contest at the same time would stretch things a bit too far.

Steve, I know you'll do well when you are voted in.
Good luck bro.
Chris
