Well sir, I'm not saying nor do I have anything against companies making a profit. The original question has nothing to do with a business "giving back" (that term grinds me because it assumes something was "taken" but that's another conversation) or donating part of their profits to the charity of their choice.
This has more to do with monies acquired directly due to statements that the funds collected from teams etc (either from auction items or 1/2 peoples choice sales) would go to and benefit xxx charity. These funds are not what you would traditionally call profit, or are they?
