If you aren't coming for one of the scheduled events, my suggestion is that you try for an early supper, maybe around 6pm. Some items aren't available for lunch (baked potato comes to mind) but the full menu is available in the evenings. By coming earlier you can visit the covered bridge before dark, and omit the risk of missing something that sold out. We prepare finite quantities of some items that don't hold well (like ribs), and occasionally there will be a run on one of these that cleans us out until the next day's batch is ready.
Remember that Georgia is on Eastern time, so depending on what part of Tennessee you are coming from you may gain an hour coming down here.
