My favorite way to do a loin is on my rotisserie. I have couple of rubs is use depending on what taste I want. None of them are "BBQ rubs" like I would use on ribs or butts. Your favorite "steak" seasoning might be a good choice.
I rub the loin before beginning the cook, then, as the juices start to perk, I periodically lightly sprinkle more rub on the meat so the juices pick it up and flow (baste) the meat.
That process is one of the reasons I put a rotisserie on my WSM.
